As i walk up to our neighbour farmer's barn to buy eggs, his son asks me if i would like to see some newborn babies... Well I'm expecting some baby calves -- but surprise surprise -- there they are all -- 8 little cuddly black bunnies -- two of them with white ears -- huddled around the Mama-Bunny... while 2 older siblings -- a black and a brown hop around the Rooster in the hay.

A walk in the Park always does wonders for the Soul -- especially if it's good weather, the Park has some nice views and one has to walk about 4 km.. all uphill to get to the Park!! Gotta do something to earn the views, no??

1 peppy Dog, 4 Men, 3 Women escorting 17 cows up to Lauweli - where they will spend the Summer grazing in the idyllic alpine pastures @ 1524 m.a.s.l.
Picking up the cows from their Barn early morning,
Hiking up 4 km of alpine trails, green meadows dotted with colourful flowers,
Learning to drive the cows along their way by saying -- "Hoy-Sa-Sa-Sa"
Slipping & falling once -> getting quickly back up to get out of the way of the cows,
Admiring the cows, running uphill with ease, walking on trail-edges as if on flat land,
Finally putting the feet up on Lauweli Farm -- enjoying Zopf and Tea,
Feeling peaceful -- Watching the cows graze in their new home.
Sorry to break the reverie.. but we have to walk back down too

The Swiss Sport Festival of Sport Union Switzerland (SUS) takes place every six years. This year this national event of the major grassroots sports association takes place from 1-3 June in Lucerne hinterland - Luthern. On the first day "Bewegungsfest" (Movement Fest) under the Motto: "Anyone who moves a lot stays mentally fit for longer", is on the program.
I ride with about 30 women from SU Beckenried in a bus to Luthern. After registration, and enjoying a coffee and croissant snack, we are ready for the Legendary trail hike @ 10:30 AM.
Here in the Luthertal, with its deep ditches and mystical, secluded places, legends are still alive. Legends are messages for the heart and less for the mind. Their purpose is to process the inexplicable past. Sagenweg (Legendary path) with its wooden sculptures tries to save the local cultural heritage from disappearing into oblivion. The path gives a little insight into the rich mythology of the Luthertal. At the same time the path leads through the impressive and varied hilly landscape of the Napfregion.
