3 retired ladies with silvery hair,

are ready to try some Indian fare..

colorful, flavorful, soulful and almost divine,

they find this simple meal of mine..

always a joy and a pride,

for me to share my Indian Side..

On this hot Sunday afternoon, as we make our way upto the Bahnhöfli, suddenly sweet melodies start to envelop us. At the Bahnhofplatz, Barrel organists from near and far, in their traditional colourful period clothes, each different and unique, but bound by a love for an instrument that belongs to a bygone era, are playing organs of all shapes, sizes and styles. The musical bouquet continues with sophisticated performances.. I'm amazed at how melodious mechanical music can be. 

After the finale, where everyone joins in leading to a crescendo, as i shake hands with some of them and Thank them for the lovely music, the organists are happy to give an insight into the inner workings and the function of the barrel organs.

Instead of waiting at the Garage for a towing-hitch to be fixed on our car, we take a walk along the Limmat and a hidden natural paradise reveals its secrets in the midst of hectic everyday life. The riverside path takes us in the immediate vicinity of the walls of the "Maris Stella" Cistercian monastery, founded in 1227. Exotic scents from the three-hectare facility with its 120 gardens envelop us as we walk past.
