So when i'm in the mood to swim

I walk about a Km to the Bus Stop, hop on the Bus

Take a selfie on my way to Beckenried (can't do that while driving myself...)

Can't wait to jump into the Lake...

Sport Union Beckenried began the celebrations of its 75th anniversary with an Apéro in the glorious and warm Autumn afternoon outside Alten Schützenhaus (old shooting club).

The president Heidi Hürlimann, welcomed around 100 members and guests to the GV (general assembly). She briefly showed the history of Sport Union Beckenried. A lot has happened during these 75 years. Things began very simply with just a few basic exercise options. At the age of 50 the club got a new flag, at the age of 60 the name changed from KTSV to Sport Union, and today we're celebrating 75 years.

Wow -- 75 years - Sport Union Beckenried is actually older than India!!!

Three women - from three Continents: A Venezuelan, an American and an Indian,

Find their common ground in Rütli - the Birthplace of Switzerland! 

Off on a Hike together (it isn't really a Hike - more like a stroll)

In Reality - Talking more than walking

A Pizza Break just 2 Km later - (So what if we haven't earned it yet??)

Couple of hours later -- my companions make a nice Silhouette admiring the Mythen from Marienhöhe..

An hour later, ice-cream is just perfect for this oh-so-hot Day (and ..gotta replenish the few calories we've lost!)

Here in the Alps, the Cows have the right of the way.

Evenings, when they return from the meadows to their Barn, we stop and happily watch them cross the road.. 

waving them by, till the last one has entered the Barn..

After all.. Happy Cows... don't come from California,

They live in Switzerland!!!
