b_200_0_7829367_0_0_images_2016_12_Mutti1.JPGIt's been a year now since Mutti bid us Adieu. The Wymann Family gets together in Beckenried Church for the First-year memorial service. It's a cold grey day, and though the Church is not heated, it's warmer inside. The family sits together on the first two Benches - Three generations of the Wymann family - Sons, Daughter-in-laws, Daughter, Son-in-Law, Grand children and Great Grandchildren - Mutti's Legacy. All gather together to fondly remember her one more time.

The Service begins and we all sing the selected Hymns at the appropriate times. I wonder where Mutti's Soul is? Can her Soul witness her Family gathered together or has she moved on? I remember the day i saw her for the first time - stepping out off the Ship @ Beckenried Ship Station.

After the Service, we walk outside to the Wymann Family Grave and offer our Respects to not only Mutti, but Dadi and Otto. I wonder what kind of a person Dadi was? I did not get to meet him. Does a bit of Mutti and Dadi still live-on in their Children, Grand Children?

As the guests leave, the Family stands together wondering what would be the best place for everyone to get together. On an impulse, Lukas invites everyone home. He asks me if it's OK? But of-course!!! It's always a Joy to have Family over..

Back home, kids watch wide-eyed as the Crêpe-Meister gets his act together with the Gas-stove & the Griddle (Thankfully, we still have some batter leftover). I get a pot of Hot chocolate and another with Professoren-Tea going. Soon, it's a full house: Kids running around - playing with the Dog, Nellie and Skylar - a bit unused to this Drama, at first hiding under Sofa, but later back on their tree hammocks, Uncles, Aunts, Nephews-Nieces, Grand Children -- all gathered together -- happy, smiling, catching up with each other..

As Lukas's first Crêpe gets ready, kids line up with paper plates in their hands, joyfully choosing Jam toppings over other healthier options (Ratatouille or Cheese!). Unlike the Samichlais märcht, the Hot-Chocolate is a resounding success with the Wymann Family Kids. They love our Oomph - Orange Zest!!

The smells of Hot-chocolate and Tea waft around the room mingling in with the shrieks and the innocent laughter. I look around and enjoy the family warmth -- happy to be part of the Wymann Family kiss
